The Team:

Julia has been working with Rooted Wings for almost a year. Her approach to creativity closely aligns with our ethos, particularly in using materials sourced directly from the natural environment. She values engaging in the full process of creating, supporting a deeper understanding of sustainability, care, and appreciation for what nature provides. This is balanced with a strong appreciation for both the creative process and the final outcome.

Through Rooted Wings’ nature-based learning approach, learners will have the opportunity to complete the Arts Award, a nationally recognised qualification. The programme is designed to support the development of creativity, leadership, and communication skills through hands-on, experiential learning. A key focus will be on using, processing, and creating with natural materials sourced from the surrounding environment, enabling learners to explore artistic expression while developing a deeper understanding of and connection to the natural world.
